Close to the beautiful Church Bay in the heart of picturesque Aberdyfi, this light, fresh and airy ground-floor apartment makes a fabulous holiday base for families exploring the lovely Dyfi Estuary.

Set back a little from the main road, this charming apartment is part of a beautifully converted former chapel and is situated within easy reach of a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Just a short stroll from the waterfront, the property makes a fantastic base for families exploring the picturesque seaside village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey), with a championship golf course and a glorious long sandy beach both nearby. Situated along the north bank of the River Dyfi as it flows into Cardigan Bay, the village is also known for its quaint pastel-coloured houses, the Old Roman Road and charming Picnic Island. A range of local activities on offer include sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing.

The apartment is accessed via a flight of steep external steps leading up to the property’s main front door, plus three further steps to enter the building. An inclined path runs by the side of the building for guests wishing to avid the main flight of stairs. Once inside this bright and refreshing property you will find the spacious and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With plenty of seating, Smart TV and electric fire, the lounge makes a perfect space for everyone to unwind in the evening, watch a film and chat into the night. The central dining area is ideal for sharing a favourite family meal together, which you can rustle up in the fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, under-counter fridge and freezer, microwave and an electric double oven with gas hob. A small utility cupboard in the hallway houses the washer/dryer. Exploring the apartment further, there are three bedrooms decorated in cool, soothing pastel shades. There are two double rooms, each with a TV. The second of these has its own en-suite shower room with shower and WC. The final bedroom is a pretty single room. The property also has a stylish bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC.

A free car pass is provided for the pay and display car parks in Aberdyfi, the nearest being by the beach just 200 metres away.

Lovely chapel conversion very comfortable and central to Aberdovey. We had a great time and the weather was a bonus. Good walks, good restaurants and good memories.

I have booked this property 26 times over the last 13 yrs it is comfortable, spacious and centrally located. This visit the owner has done many improvements to the kitchen, new sink and taps, new dishwasher and what looks like a new cooker. Several mattresses have been replaced which reflects that the owner takes great pride in their property and wRead moreorks hard to ensure the property is comfortable and up to date. A great location in a beautiful bay. The accommodation was generally comfortable however experienced some discomfort in the bedroom with ensuite because of poor air quality. More attention to maintenance in the ensuite prevent this from being a 4 star accommodation.

This is a really comfortable, well-furnished apartment right in the centre of beautiful Aberdovey. Perfect for two couples as there are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms - as well as a single bedroom. We just love it here!

I have used this property a lot over the years staying some 26 times, that record speaks for itself. The apartment is comfortable, very spacious and in an perfect location. I already have a booking in for next September. The property is ideal for a short break or a long one as it is so central.

Great property in a central spot, lovely views. Quality furniture and decor make this place feel like a real home from home, we had a very comfortable stay for a family of four with two large teenagers.

Well appointed apartment but in need of some TLC with better attention to detail. Note: whilst the apartment is on the ground floor and there is a ramp to the front door, the ramp is very steep and there are two very high steps at the main door. If you have mobility issues you may struggle.

Comfortable accommodation and the living room provided a bright space to relax in. The apartment is in a good location and there was a lovely view from the living room window out over the bay. We enjoyed walks along the front and local restaurant and coffee shops. Aberdyfi railway station was in easy walking distance and we had lovely scenic trips Read moreup and down the coast.
