A delightful, Welsh holiday home, taking in far-reaching, panoramic views across the water, and in an ideal location for Cardigan Bay and Snowdonia National Park.

Head to this enticing, two-bedroom cottage in Penhelig, just 0.5 miles from the popular seaside village of Aberdyfi. Situated at the very southern tip of Snowdonia National Park, and with simply stunning views out across the picturesque Dyfi Estuary, it is ideally positioned for anyone seeking a beach holiday or hoping to enjoy surfing, sailing, walking or playing golf. Sleeping up to four guests, and also welcoming one canine companion, it is 0.5 miles from the beach and 1 mile from the golf club.

Tear yourselves away from the scenic views and take the steps up to enter at the ground-floor level, where you will find an inviting lounge/kitchen/diner with oak flooring. Settle in here together in front of the TV, read your book for a while or simply take in the views. Open the doors on to the Juliet balcony on warm days to bring in the sea breeze. On chilly days, light the wood burner-style gas fire. At meal times, whip up a tasty meal in the stylish kitchen area with its electric oven and grill, microwave, two-plate hob, fridge/freezer, slimline dishwasher, toaster and kettle. Dine together at the circular table, taking in the views over the estuary. At the end of each day, climb the stairs, with their glass balustrade, to find a bunk bedroom with 3ft beds, and a double room, with more French windows on to another Juliet balcony. Take in the magical views from here through the glass balustrade as soon as you awake. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, handbasin and WC, on this level too.

Enjoy the fresh air from upstairs and down by opening the doors on to the Juliet balconies. To sit out in the sunshine, stroll over the road to the enchanting Penhelig Gardens. There is no parking at the property, but a car pass will be supplied for a pay and display car park 100 metres away.

We had a lovely time in Aberdovey. This cottage has wonderful views over the gardens and the estuary. It has great kitchen equipment including a half and half fridge . It is very bright and airy. Good sized modern shower and comfortable bed. Lovely pub just down the road where we had most of our evening meals. 5 minute walk to Aberdovey with its grRead moreeat beach and sand dunes. This is a very dog friendly resort and dogs are welcome in the pubs there. We look forward to returning to Aberdovey Hide

The cottage is nicely furnished, very modern inside, light and airy and warm. Stunning views from the large windows. The cottage is next to a busy road, the double glazing was very effective, but noisy with the windows open. Quite well equipped, with state of the art appliances. Only one pillow and one towel per person.

The cottage has the most amazing views the pictures do not do it justice. Both the downstairs and main bedroom offer the best of this by having a juliet balcony. The cottage is well equipped for a one or two week stay and ate in most nights. A parking pass was provided for the car park which is literally just down the road. We came on the train andRead more the station is very close too. I would definitely return. Hide
