Description

Aberdovey holiday cottage overlooking Aberdyfi beach and Dyfi Estuary and set in a stunning location

Self catering accommodation | Pet Friendly | Sleeps 5

Cara Cottage is an end-terrace cottage set in a stunning location, close to all the amenities of the charming seaside village of Aberdovey / Aberdyfi.  Cara Cottage has been tastefully modernised but retains its original charm. The views are exceptional, encompassing the village, sandy beach, lifeboat station and open sea as well as the hills across the estuary which appears to change colour depending on the season.

Situated a short walk away from the Dovey Inn and conveniently close to the shops, pubs, restaurants and all amenities, CARA Cottage is also minutes away from the beach, jetty (for your crabbing), water sports, and beautiful mountain walks and located next to the Welsh Coastal Path.

Comments from the Visitors' Book

The village is a 5 minute stroll away, in a stunning location, and the cottage comes equipped with everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. Fantastic place, can't wait to come back again - we have already booked our summer holiday here.

My favourite place. I have visited CARA on a number of occasions with my boyfriend, and it occurred to me last time I stayed that I have never left a review. CARA Cottage is one of my favourite places in the world. Curling up in the immaculate and cosy front room in front of the lovely open fire if the weather is bad, or going down to the fantastic beach is the weather is nice, CARA is the ideal base for either a winter or summer getaway.

Superb location for views. Very comfortable cottage, with superb views. Location for the Town excellent.

Fantastic Cottage in an idyllic setting with wonderful views! Cara Cottage was lovely, clean, very well stocked and just perfect. The location overlooking the estuary is breath taking, an ideal destination. Thank you again, Annette for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home Xx

Magnificent. James and I came for our honeymoon, and CARA was simply perfect. Comfortable accommodation with superb views. This is the ideal get away location and the owner goes out of her way to make the cottage feel home from home. We will definitely come back x

Gorgeous cottage and amazing view! We had a fabulous stay in CARA cottage with our family over half term and highly recommend it. Everything had been provided to make us welcome and ensured a comfortable stay. The view was amazing to wake up to and the log burner lovely in the evening. We enjoyed collecting shells on the beach and exploring Snowdonia. Thank you for a great holiday.

Excellent Cottage with Stunning View. Our family spent a week in Cara and had a thoroughly superb holiday. The cottage itself is immaculate and really well equipped, and the location is perfect; close to town, beach, train, great walks and a panorama you'll never get bored of! Would definitely recommend.

Amazing Views! We have been coming to Cara Cottage for 4 years now and we just love this place. The accommodation is warm and cosy, very well maintained, spotlessly clean and equipped with just about everything you could possibly need at hand. Aberdovey is simply beautiful! Unspoilt beaches, rolling surf, inviting pubs and restaurants what more could you ask for! Thank you Annette. Can't wait until next year.
