Enjoying a fantastic central position in a cheerful and thriving seaside village, this stylish, light-filled and cosy apartment makes a relaxing holiday retreat for families and couples.

Sitting along the charming seafront, this pretty apartment is ideal for a family or a couple exploring the flourishing harbour village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey). Set along the beautiful northern shore of the River Dyfi as it flows into Cardigan Bay, Aberdyfi has plenty of popular attractions including a championship golf course, a long sandy stretch of beach, and plenty of quaint pastel-coloured houses. Surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the southern reaches of the glorious Snowdonia National Park, Aberdyfi makes a wonderful base for walkers and nature lovers, and there are plenty of great restaurants, pubs and cafes just metres away from the apartment. The Dyfi Estuary is host to activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing.

Entering the property, a couple of steps lead up into the hallway and through to the stylish and spacious lounge/diner. This is a lovely space for everyone to settle back and relax at the end of great day out. The lounge features plenty of seating, a smart TV and a large bay window offering superb views over the beach and out to sea. The dining area is ideal for gathering together to enjoy a favourite family meal. Exploring further, the fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven with halogen hob, an under-counter fridge with a small ice compartment, plus a microwave, washing machine and a small dining table perfect for breakfast or a quick snack. Heading upstairs, the top floor features a snug children’s TV room and two warm and welcoming bedrooms. The king-size bedroom is to the front of the apartment, with far-reaching sea views. The back bedroom has twin beds and plenty of storage space. There’s also a stylish bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Please note all rooms on this floor have low sloping ceilings.

Stepping outside, there’s a small roof terrace with garden furniture, providing a charming spot for a morning coffee as you plan the day. Guests will be provided with a free car pass which can be used in Aberdyfi’s pay and display car parks, the nearest being opposite the apartment. Please note that the apartment is accessed via a wooden gate behind the property which leads up four flights of metal stairs –this staircase can become slippery when wet.

Second time here, all very good, located directly opposite car park with pass included, only me and the dog, but could sleep 5, outdoor metal staircase could be an issue for some, but not for us, happy enough

For those able to climb stairs without difficulty (5 steps x 4 to gain access)., this is an excellent location near the heart of the village. Lovely views of the estuary. Excellent free parking opposite. Fitted out in a modern, no-frills way, but adequately equipped, with comfortable beds and a responsive heating system. Nice apartment with a holiday feel to it, dog owners will need to make regular trips up and down the stairs which is tiring, but great beach for walking dogs.

Whilst the property is starting to look a little run down its location makes up for the shortfall and the fact that we can take our dog is a huge bonus. Would recommend to families with younger children and pets looking for a centrally located budget holiday.

This is a top floor apartment over two floors right on the sea front with the most stunning views you could wish for. It is a lovely, clean well appointed apartment with large kitchen and lounge on the ground floor and a double and single bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Bedrooms at the front. First time back to Glan y mor for a few years. Just as great. Nice upgrade on the tv & new seat cushions on ikea chairs a nice touch! Otherwise as comfortable & clean as ever - who needs anything more with the beach and mountains on your doorstep?!
