Located in a lovely spot just over the road from the beautiful seafront and set over three levels, this light, fresh and inviting townhouse makes a fantastic holiday retreat for families and friends.

Set along the seafront, this delightful townhouse makes a lovely holiday home for families and groups discovering the southern part of the magnificent Snowdonia National Park. Enjoying a fantastic central location in the picturesque seaside village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey), this fabulous property is just a few hundred metres from a golden sandy beach and a wide range of great restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. Lying along the northern shores of the sparkling River Dyfi as it flows into Cardigan Bay, the village has its own championship golf course, plenty of quaint pastel-coloured houses, the Old Roman Road and charming Picnic Island. There’s also a variety of activities on offer including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing.

Entering this fresh and inviting townhouse the entrance hall leads you through and up a step into the elegant and welcoming dining room. With plenty of seating around a large table and offering fine sea views, the dining room is perfect for gathering together to enjoy a celebratory meal. The galley-style kitchen has a wide range of equipment including an under-counter oven and gas hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There’s also a handy ground-floor shower room complete with shower and WC. Going upstairs, the stylish and spacious lounge can be found on the first floor, offering glorious views from the large windows of the Dyfi Estuary and the Plynlimon mountains beyond. The lounge is a lovely space for everyone to gather and relax, and features a wood burner-effect electric fire, TV, DVD and plenty of cosy seating. This floor houses the family bathroom, complete with a shower over the bath, a drying cupboard and tumble dryer. A separate WC is also on this floor. The first of the four light and tastefully decorated bedrooms is on the first floor: a delightful twin room which has the benefit of tea-making facilities and a fridge. The final three bedrooms are all on the second floor: two double rooms with sea views and a charming twin room to the back of the property.

Stepping outside, there’s a small, gravelled yard to the rear where you can enjoy a morning coffee as you plan the day’s events. A free car parking pass is provided for use in the village’s pay and display car parks, the nearest being just 400 metres away, next to the beach.

My parents have a caravan in Tywyn therefore Abderfyi is home from home, I was looking forward to this stay as we had just finished the three peak challenge in under 24hours and it was safe to say we were all exhausted. However instead of a peaceful atmosphere on arrival the cleanliness of the property was frankly awful. We spent the first hour tryRead moreing to clean as much as we could. We also had no supplies, no T-towel, full loo rolls, no washing up supplies so we had to go back out to by these. Hide

Fantastic location for young and old. Perfect view over the estuary and beyond. Sinks in each bedroom meant that there was never a queue for the bathroom or shower room. There is a very useful small back yard for storing all the wet stuff in. A brilliant holiday home.
