This delightful apartment makes a great holiday base for a couple enjoying all that the pretty harbour village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey) has to offer. Set along the picturesque seafront, the apartment is within easy reach of a fabulous variety of great restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. The beach is just across the road and offers miles of golden sands, leading eventually to the picturesque seaside resort of Tywyn (4 miles). Situated along the northern bank of the beautiful River Dyfi as it flows into Cardigan Bay, Aberdyfi is known for its quaint pastel-coloured houses and its championship golf course, and is a great base for a range of outdoor activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, golf and fishing.
Stepping into this light and stylish first-floor apartment, the tiled hallway has cupboard space housing the washer/dryer as well as a WC before a few steps lead up and into the bright and welcoming main open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The fresh and relaxing lounge is a delightful space to sit back and unwind at the end of a wonderful day, complete with plenty of seating, Smart TV and fantastic views from the bay window which looks across the beach and out to sea. The dining area is perfect for sharing a romantic meal which you can rustle up in the fully equipped galley-style kitchen. Here you will find a range of useful equipment including an electric oven and hob, a fridge with a small ice compartment and a microwave. Exploring further there’s a cosy double bedroom with plenty of storage space and a handy en-suite shower room.
Although the property has no outside areas, the beach is just across the road and there are plenty of cafes nearby. You will be provided with a free car pass which can be used in Aberdyfi’s pay and display car parks, the nearest being opposite the apartment. Please note that the apartment is accessed via a wooden gate behind the property which leads up two flights of metal stairs – this staircase can become slippery when wet.
