Stroll down into charming Aberdyfi from this single-storey cottage set up on the hill behind the popular seaside village. With two bedrooms, the light-filled holiday home sleeps up to four guests and also welcomes one four-legged friend. Enjoy it as a base from which to explore the surrounding area or relax and soak up the sunshine here as you take in the views. Head less than 800 metres to reach shops and cafes, as well as the beach, where you can swim, surf, fish and hire a boat to take you out on the water. Play golf in the village or pick up the Welsh Coast Path and walk 4 miles along Cardigan Bay to Tywyn.

Stroll into this inviting abode to find accommodation all on one level. Make your way into the lounge, where you can pull open the doors on warm days and gaze out towards the water. Find a film on the Smart TV in here, watch a DVD or listen to some music on the CD player. Amble on through to the kitchen/diner, where you have an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and slow cooker, to prepare hearty breakfasts, lunches and dinners for your party, and then enjoy them together up at the breakfast bar. Choose between a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room with walk in shower plus WC and a comfortable twin room with en-suite bathroom (no shower) and WC  when you are ready to turn in for the night.

Take your morning coffee out to the patio in front of the property and immerse yourselves in the views as you enjoy it. Later, dine together on the terrace behind the cottage. Parking here is on the street, subject to availability.

This property is spacious, comfortable and in a nice quiet location, with the beach and all other amenities less than a 10 minute walk away. However, it would benefit from a thorough clean and freshening up of the decor.

We had a lovely weeks stay in Aberdovey and the surrounding areas. This property has everything you need to have a comfortable stay, and after speaking to the owner, I know that there are plans to update the facilities that other reviewers have mentioned. The initial cleanliness was not what we would expect, but the owner has assured us that she will raise this with the cleaning company. Hide

Really nice bungalow not really an enclosed garden and the steep hills are not suitable for people with difficulty walking and breathing problems. Would recommend to friends but not with health problems.

A fence at the front of the property to allow dogs to be let loose would be good. Otherwise we really liked the property and always enjoy visiting Aberdyfi.

Great cottage, lots of space, 2 bathrooms is a bonus, well equipped. Very hilly area so lots of up and down walking, great views out the front of the cottage. Private garden is steep at back but there is a small platform area to sit too. We had a lovely relaxed time and did lots of walking and mountain biking direct from the cottage. The house was very clean and had all we needed for an enjoyable visit. The hill is very steep but if driving we never had a problem parking in the town's car park or outside the house. There was a basket of dog friendly blankets and bowls. When sitting on the front patio there is a lovely view over the estuary.

The bungalow is roomy and light, and fairly comfortable, and the patio and furniture at the front are a great bonus in a village where outside space is at a premium. Likewise, the convenience of parking on the road. The walk back from the village is steep, and might prove to be a problem for the elderly or those of limited mobility.

Lovely bright property. Very light and functional. Well located. Really comfortable, we would absolutely stay here again. Updating the kitchen and putting a small fence across the bottom of the garden path to make it safer for dogs would really improve this property.
