A bijou cottage for four set in a quiet village location close to Aberdyfi beach, with the southern fringes of Snowdonia National Park nearby.
Enjoy a stay in a traditional coastal cottage at this charming property, set close to the centre of Aberdyfi. This two-bedroom retreat, which sleeps four guests and welcomes two small dogs, is ideal for a family and is perfectly positioned for reaching shops, pubs and cafes, as well as the beach which is 400m away. From here, explore Cardigan Bay, with its beautiful beaches and coastal walks - on which you can sometimes spot seals, dolphins and porpoises. Head into Snowdonia as well. Lace up your walking boots and attempt a circular, 10-mile walk from Aberdyfi, through the national park to Llyn Barfog, also known as the Bearded Lake.
Step straight through the front door into the lounge/diner. Unwind in here together after your long walks and days out at the beach. Watch the Smart LCD TV, or a DVD perhaps. Take turns at whipping up tasty holiday meals in the kitchen area, with its electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, then serve up at the large table back through in the main living area. There is also a shower room with WC on this floor. Climb the stairs up to the first floor to lay your head on your pillow after each exhilarating day out. Choose between the double bedroom and the bunk bedroom with 3ft bunks. French doors lead out from the bunk bedroom onto the decked seating area at the rear. Also on this floor is a separate WC with hand basin.
Sit out on the bench in front of the cottage to take in the sea air or relax outside on the small private terrace at the back, where you might like to dine on warm summer evenings. There is no dedicated parking at this cottage, but one car pass is supplied for pay and display car parks in Aberdyfi. Guests will find the closest one 400m away beside the beach.
