Enjoying an elevated position in the heart of Aberdovey, gather a group at this stunning home which boasts panoramic coastal views, close to Snowdonia National Park.

Walk down into Aberdovey, on the northern edge of the Dyfi estuary where the mountains meet the sea on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. This peaceful village has a thriving harbour, pubs, cafés, restaurants, galleries, and independent shops to explore. On the doorstep, enjoy a range of great outdoor activities including walking, cycling, sea swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing, not forgetting the championship links golf course, and the beautiful golden sandy beach. Heading into Snowdonia, landmarks include Craig yr Aderyn, a Site of Special Scientific Interest renowned for birds, and the beautiful Dolgoch Falls (both within 15 miles). This is an all-year-round destination for family, friends and dogs, too.

Walk into this creatively designed family house where you’ll find all the thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. The hall leads to the boot room which has plenty of space for your outdoor attire and a separate WC. Continue through into the kitchen/diner with panoramic views over the town and out to the estuary and beyond. If you decide to eat in, the stylish dining area is perfect for everyone to gather around and enjoy a meal together with superb views. The kitchen area is a sociable space, well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and breakfast bar. There’s also a useful utility housing a washing machine and tumble dryer with more storage space. After dinner, relax in the lounge area with comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Open the feature patio doors and enjoy the decked balcony, letting the outside in and embracing the views of the Dyfi Estuary and out across Cardigan Bay. Downstairs, there is a games room with a football table, sofa, Smart TV and access to the lower sub-tropical garden. There are also four gorgeous bedrooms to choose from: three doubles and a twin, all benefiting from lovely sea views. All have been designed with a good night’s sleep in mind. Completing the accommodation is the fabulous bathroom with a large walk-in shower, freestanding bath, and a WC. If you prefer, use the separate shower room with a dressing room, a shower and a WC – either are lovely spaces for enjoying a leisurely start to the day.

Contemporary outside spaces include an enclosed paved area with furniture and a wash-down area for bikes. There’s also the large, decked balcony (on the first floor, accessed from the house) with a table, chairs, a gas BBQ, and fabulous far-reaching coastal views. You’ll also find private parking for four cars and plenty of storage for bikes, paddleboards and canoes.

Please note that this property is located up a steep hill. You are able to walk into the village or you may prefer to drive.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. View from the upper level and the top terrace is breath taking even in the rain ! The kitchen facilities are excellent and the sitting room is very comfortable. We were only two plus a dog but six or more people would have plenty of space.

This is a lovely house, very roomy and comfortable with a fantastic upper open plan living area with amazing views. We were lucky to have great weather and really enjoyed the balcony and outside area. Eating breakfast looking out to the sea and wonderful scenery was very special. Overall a well equipped and high quality house.

The cottage was ideal for us as a family holiday, plenty of space to spread out and once you find it, it is only a short walk to the centre, beach, shops and restaurants. The location and views from the cottage are fantastic and layout clean scandi style and is fully equipped with cooking utensils and iron and hairdryer. The layout worked really well for us. Found all we needed in kitchen for preparing meals. Equipment was good. Bathroom and showers were good, fast hot water. The artwork was interesting and we spotted some subjects around the village - nice touch. And the view! We will all miss that view.
