A beautiful coastal townhouse on the waterfront, in the heart of Aberdovey with panoramic coastal views, just a few metres from a pebbly beach, where you can sunbathe, paddle, fish, picnic, BBQ and paddleboard. You can even launch your boat and use a temporary mooring if required (agreement required from Harbour Master)

This property enjoys a village location with restaurants, galleries, independent shops, a beautiful 4 mile long sandy beach, and the sea less than 500 metres away. Aberdovey is on the northern edge of the Dyfi Estuary where the mountains meet the sea on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. On the doorstep, there is a range of great outdoor activities including walking, cycling, sea swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, crabbing and fishing, not forgetting the championship links golf course. Pick up the Welsh coast path and walk 4 miles on to the beach of Tywyn looking out for dolphins and porpoises in Cardigan Bay as you go. You can also head 10 miles into Snowdonia to see the picturesque Dolgoch Falls. This is an all-year-round destination for family and friends.

Walk into this attractive family townhouse, arranged over five floors, with creature comforts including underfloor heating and all the thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay. Walk into the kitchen/diner with fabulous waterside views and comfortable sofas where you can relax and soak up the scenery. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen/diner is a sociable space. The well-equipped kitchen has a Smeg gas seven-ring hob and three ovens, plus a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, Nespresso Coffee machine and a fridge/freezer around the corner. The stylish dining area is perfect for everyone to gather around, enjoy a meal together, and plan holiday activities. If you go down to the basement, you will find the useful room housing the washing machine and tumble dryer, in addition you will find deck chairs and a portable gas BBQ for use on the pebbly beach. There is also great storage space for your outdoor attire such as walking boots, wetsuits, bikes and paddleboards. After dinner, relax in the lounge upstairs on the first floor with more comfortable sofas, arm chairs,  window seats, a Smart TV, and the most stunning panoramic views of the Dyfi Estuary and out across Cardigan Bay. You will find the first of the bedrooms on this floor with a king-size bed and a stylish shower room with underfloor heating and a separate WC. Up the next flight of stairs, on the second floor is another bedroom with a king-size bed, dual aspect windows with fabulous estuary views, and an en-suite shower and WC. There is another bathroom on this floor too, with a shower over the bath and a WC. Up the next flight of stairs, on the third floor there are another two bedrooms: the family room with two double beds, with one being against the wall, boasting lovely sea views, and the bunk bedroom with a double base and single on the top. Please note that two of the double beds on the third floor can only be accessed from one side, however all have been designed with a good night’s sleep in mind.

Outside, through a gate and down several steps, you have access to the basement, and up a few steps you can reach the front door. There are parking permits for two cars for parking in the car parks in the village (and others in Gwynedd). There is plenty of storage for your bikes and paddleboards in a private area outside the basement, where you will also find a hot outside shower, useful for washing off the sand after a day on the beach.

A very comfortable and well equipped house with beautiful views overlooking the estuary. Perfect position for access to beach and all amenities. Car park permits were invaluable. All wetsuits and beach equipment provided were in good condition. Good restaurants and takeaways nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at Sea View House! We were a group of seven friends visiting Aberdovey on a swimming holiday, and it couldn't have suited us better. The house is spacious, modern, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our seaside stay. The house is located right in the town centre on the sea front so you can easily pop to the shops Read moreor jump in the sea, and the views are spectacular. The outdoor shower and basement setup was ideal for returning post-swim rinsing off and drying kit. Hide
