Sitting along the northern bank of the sparkling Dyfi Estuary, this stylishly decorated apartment provides fabulous views and cosy accommodation for two guests exploring this lovely part of Snowdonia.

Located along the picturesque foreshore of the Dyfi Estuary, this tasteful apartment offers direct access to a stony stretch of beach providing a charming spot for a picnic or for watching the wildlife along the river. The apartment is set along the edge of the popular harbour village of Aberdyfi (also known as Aberdovey), and makes a lovely base for couples exploring the southern part of the fabulous Snowdonia National Park. Aberdyfi has plenty of attractions including a championship golf course and a long stretch of golden sand, and is host to a range of activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing. The apartment is also nicely placed for visiting some fantastic restaurants, pubs and cafes just down the road.

Stepping into this south-facing ground-floor apartment you will find the spacious and inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features original oak flooring and a number of exposed wooden beams. With plenty of seating, a TV and a welcoming wood burner, the light and stylish lounge is a wonderful space to snuggle together in the evening and watch a favourite film or chat into the night. There’s also a pretty dining area, perfect for sharing a romantic meal for two which you can rustle up in the attractively designed kitchen. Here you will find a wide range of equipment including a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric double oven, gas hob, grill, microwave and washing machine as well as an additional breakfast bar. Towards the back of the apartment is the cosy bedroom with a super-king-size bed, built-in wardrobe and shelves, and a dressing table along with an en-suite shower room with a shower and WC. The apartment also has a small cloakroom with the gas combi boiler, hanging space and a separate WC.

Heading outside, the apartment is just across the road from the river, with plenty of rural and coastal walks within easy reach. A free parking pass is provided giving you access to the village’s pay and display car parks, the nearest of which is just 200 metres away.

Yelland has a fabulous outlook across the Estuary in Aberdovey. It is light and airy, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days in the property, and will be booking again. Over 35 years or so, we have stayed in numerous properties in Aberdovey, but Yelland is probably the best.

Lovely cottage and location, beautiful area and view. Excellent beaches and local pubs and restaurants. Nice comfy bed. Traffic can be loud and distracting when sitting in the living space.

Lovely accommodation and facilities of a good standard. Great view! It could have been cleaner. Our stay was spoiled by gas works directly outside, noisy and smelly. We would have preferred to have been informed about the work before our stay. We looked forward to using the log burner and bought wood in advance only to find it was condemned, again Read moreadvance warning should have been given. Lovely location for a stay by the sea. Great views, very easy to park outside to unload etc. just moments away from great bars and cafes and the sunset on the beach! The property itself is very well equipped, lovely comfortable bed and the bathroom is really nice with a good shower for after those long days out. Kitchen has everything you need and Read moremore and the whole place is much more roomy than you might think from the pictures. Overall one of the best places we have stayed. Hide

Wow..what a fantastic well presented cottage. Beautifully decorated inside and out to a very high standard with a modern feel but still the character of a cottage The view on to the estuary from both windows are amazing. We have been lucky with the weather both times we have stayed at Yelland in Dovey. However those stunning days still only enhanced the local breath taking aesthetic that is this part of wales, the evenings spent listening to the gentle and oddly calming sound of boats dozing by the waters edge, staring out at the epic mountains that peer over the sRead moreun lit water. We love Aberdovey and this apartment in particular. We've stayed three times. It's a superb location on the Dovey estuary. The apartment beautifully designed and stylish. it's well equipped with loads of lovely extras that make holidaying so much nicer. We'll definitely be staying there again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, everything is to a high standard and we found everything we needed,(local books and maps, binoculars, but to name a few) Do not be put off by not being able to park outside the property, it is just a very short walk to the nearest car park Thank you

Fabulous short break in a lovely apartment. The location is excellent and the views from the front windows are stunning. Although there isnt any outside space you can walk across the road and sit and enjoy the views from a small shelter or go onto the small pebble beach. A pleasant well equipped property ideal for a couple or single occupancy. Well placed for either end of the village. Pleasant walk to the shops and beach.
