The owners have kept this lovely house simple but very tastefully appointed in a modern style. When you walk through the front door it is immediately apparent that this wonderful holiday home will make the perfect home from home. The house design has the bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs which allows guests a stunning vista over the Aberdovey / Aberdyfi golf course and sand dunes.
This is a fresh and happy house with everything you would need and want for your perfect getaway. The property is on the outskirts of the village with private parking and just 500 meters from the train station and a ten-minute walk from the centre of Aberdovey. Close by is the renowned Trefeddian Hotel, which makes an ideal location for meals, drinks and dining out. If you are a regular visitor to Aberdovey you will already know the high standards achieved by the Trefeddian and its staff. Patio doors lead out to the communal garden (Please be aware that although there is a gate in the communal garden, you cannot access the golf course or railway track, however, children must be supervised at all times)
Bedroom 3 - Bunk bedroom with chest of drawers. Bunks are 3ft.
Bathroom 1 - Bath with overhead shower, toilet and hand basin

Living Room - A spacious open plan living/dining area with a gas Inset Live Fuel Effect Fire, french doors that open out onto the balcony with stunning views of the golf course and sandhills. Aberdyfi / Aberdovey
The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course (rated in the UK's top 100). The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel-coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere.
Aberdyfi / Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn narrow gauge Steam Railway, crab fishing and the famous Dyfi Donkeys. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.
The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dyfi, Dysynni and Tal y Llyn valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

Booking and Payment
Dyfi Cottages & Aberdyfi Holidays is a marketing agency and we do not own or manage any of the accommodation listed on our websites. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement between you and the property owner.
For bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday is required at the time of booking. The balance is then due 8 weeks before the holiday commences.
For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable at the time of booking.
Security deposits are not normally required. Please note that guests are still liable for any damage, breakages or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions.
Arrival & Departure times
Arrival time is from 5 pm/ Departure time is no later than 09.30 am.

Heating & Electric
Heating and electric are included in the accommodation price.

Regrettably, pets are not accepted.

There is on-site parking for two cars.
Situated on the outskirts of the village, it's just a short walk (approx 10 minutes) to the centre of Aberdyfi.
Access, Health and Safety
Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.
Please ensure children are supervised whilst in the rear communal garden and on the top balcony.
Although situated in a small cul de sac, the main road to the village can get quite busy.
Please contact us immediately if there are any specific needs you may have, including disability needs. It is essential that we are given as much information as possible about your requirements to avoid booking an unsuitable property. Some locations do not lend themselves to easy access and facilities, so please ask first to avoid disappointment.
The choice is ultimately the responsibility of the person booking the property, and we cannot be held responsible should a property be booked that is unsuitable or inappropriate.

The whole house has clearly been modernised with great style and imagination. It contains every machine/device or means of entertainment that any holidaymaker could possibly wish for, but it still remains bright and airy with plenty of space. It is also very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future. Even the weather was good, although any time here would still have been memorable had it not been.
We've had a lovely time staying in the house, the beds were comfy and the view is beautiful. Perfect place for the cottage to sit (few mins from Dovey) and the weather was stunning. We would definitely like to stay here again!
We came to meet our granddaughter after a sponsored walk with her school. The weather was awful (for June) but we so enjoyed our stay in the house by the beach, beautifully equipped and so welcoming. So nice when a holiday booking exceeds expectations. Thank You.
