Glan Y Mor is a spacious and pet-friendly holiday apartment located on the magnificent Aberdovey / Aberdyfi sea-front, with four miles of sandy beach just a few paces away from your door!
Close to Aberdovey's / Aberdyfi's centre, this apartment is spacious, light and airy with a large bay window overlooking the sea-front. Fishing boats, sailing dinghies, kite and windsurfers coming and going just a couple of hundred meters away.

Aberdovey (Aberdyfi) is surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain and valley scenery to be found in Wales. Within easy reach are the renowned peaks of Cader Idris, Aran Fawddwy, Aran Benllyn, the Rhinogs, as well as the birthplace of the River Severn in the imposing Plynlimon range.
Both the Dovey (Dyfi) and Dysynni valleys have their own wild and rugged charm, which provides outstanding opportunities for all types of walker and wildlife enthusiasts.
Sleeps 4 guests in 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom.

Entrance - Hallway leading to the kitchen, lounge/dining room, under stairs cupboard. Stairs to the top floor with handrail.
Kitchen - Fitted kitchen with under counter fridge with small icebox, washing machine, built-under electric oven and halogen hob. Small dining table with seating for 4 people, microwave, kettle, cafetiere and toaster.
Living/Dining Room - A beautiful spacious living/dining room with settee and two easy chairs with a small coffee table in the bay window overlooking the beach and estuary. An LCD TV, Freeview with built-in DVD player. Large dining table with seating for 4 people.
Bedroom 1 - Front bedroom with kingsize bed, double wardrobe and chest of drawers
Bedroom 2 - Rear twin bedroom (beds are 3ft) with single wardrobe and chest of drawers
Childs TV room - Settee with small LCD TV and limited Freeview
Bathroom - bath with overhead electric shower, washbasin & WC.
Outside Space - Outside roof terrace with table and chairs.
Aberdyfi / Aberdovey
The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course (rated in the UK's top 100). The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel-coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere.
Aberdyfi / Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn narrow gauge Steam Railway, crab fishing and the famous Dyfi Donkeys. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.
The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dyfi, Dysynni and Tal y Llyn valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

Booking and Payment
Dyfi Cottages & Aberdyfi Holidays is a marketing agency and we do not own or manage any of the accommodation listed on our websites. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement between you and the property owner.
For bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday is required at the time of booking. The balance is then due 8 weeks before the holiday commences.
For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable at the time of booking.
Security deposits are not normally required. Please note that guests are still liable for any damage, breakages or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions.
Arrival & Departure times
Arrival time is from 5 pm / Departure time is no later than 09.30 am.
Please note: check-in and check-out times at the majority of our properties have been temporarily revised. The revised times for this property are reflected above.
Short breaks are available out of season and can be booked for a minimum of 3 nights from the following days:
- Saturday to Tuesday for a 3-night weekend break
- Tuesday to Saturday for a 4-night midweek break
During November to February arrival days may be more flexible nearer the time although these exclude Sundays and any holidays.

Heating & Electric
Gas central heating and electric are included in the accommodation price.
Sorry, there are no infant facilities available (guests are very welcome to bring their own travel cot).
One small well behaved dog is welcome at an additional cost of £25 (to be kept downstairs).
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. The owner cannot guarantee the availability or speed of the service as this is dependent on third party suppliers.
There is one free car pass provided in the apartment for the Aberdyfi ‘pay & display’ car parks. The nearest one is directly opposite the apartment (spaces are subject to availability). Sorry, the owner is unable to provide additional car passes.
The apartment is located on the seafront in the centre of the village and there can be some associated noise during busier times.
Access, Health, and Safety
The maximum occupancy is 4 guests (does not include an infant under 2 years in a travel cot)
Access to the apartment is via a wooden gate which leads to the rear of the property and then turning right up four flights of metal stairs. Please take care as the metal staircase can get very slippery especially when wet.
Please ensure children and pets are supervised at all times on the rooftop terrace and the metal staircase.
Please contact us immediately if there are any specific needs you may have, including disability needs. It is essential that we are given as much information as possible about your requirements to avoid booking an unsuitable property. Some locations do not lend themselves to easy access and facilities, so please ask first to avoid disappointment. The choice is ultimately the responsibility of the person booking the property, and we cannot be held responsible should a property be booked that is unsuitable or inappropriate.
