There can only be a handful of such outstanding holiday retreats in the whole of the Snowdonia that enjoy such a majestic location. Ty Bryn has a commanding and spectacular views over Aberdovey / Aberdyfi and the Dovey estuary towards Cardigan Bay. This property offers an unbridled location for those wishing to spend a peaceful holiday watching over the beauty of Mid Wales.

Ty Bryn is a stunning residence, appointed to the highest specification and standing handsomely within its own grounds. The word luxurious best describes the attention to detail, equipment, furnishings, fabrics and sheer comfort which will be soaked up by the fortunate holidaymakers who choose to spend their holidays here.

Ty Bryn resides in an elevated setting that boasts glorious views. It is situated only a 5 minutes’ walk away from Aberdovey / Aberdyfi village centre, with its many delights: pubs, award-winning restaurants, a 4 mile stretch of golden sand and dunes, beautiful walks, Dovey Yacht Club and Aberdovey Golf Club ranked in the top 100 in the UK.

The owners have given a great deal of thought to provide a perfect holiday home of the highest quality, with modern contemporary furnishings and excellent facilities. Ty Bryn is a holiday home of rare merit to which we are sure our clientele will long to return.

Sleeps 8 people in 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms.

First Floor

Entrance Hall - Hallway with wooden floor, W.C, & cupboard for storing coats and shoes

Living/Dining/Kitchen - A beautiful spacious glass-fronted open plan living/dining/kitchen area with two large leather settees, relaxing rocking chair, LCD TV, DVD player, I-pod docking station, and wood-burning stove. (logs are available to purchase locally). Large dining table with seating for eight, breakfast bar with four stools. Fully fitted kitchen, with dishwasher, tall fridge/freezer, built-in electric oven & microwave, gas hob, waste disposal. 

Glass sliding doors lead out to a balcony with two sun loungers and stunning views of the estuary.

Utility Room - Small utility room with washing machine, dryer and sink unit.

Stairs to ground floor bedrooms (with handrails).

En-suite  - Thermostatically controlled walk-in shower and separate bath, WC, washbasin and underfloor heating.

The picturesque harbour village of Aberdyfi / Aberdovey is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18-hole links golf course (rated in the UK's top 100). The village is often referred to as “an artist's paradise” with its pastel-coloured cottages, small shops, inns and excellent restaurants which specialise in local seafood, all helping to create a relaxed welcoming atmosphere.

Aberdyfi / Aberdovey boasts some of the finest beaches in Britain, with four miles of golden sand-dune backed shoreline running north to Tywyn, home of the world-famous Talyllyn narrow gauge Steam Railway, crab fishing and the famous Dyfi Donkeys. The beaches are popular with sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fishermen while the estuary attracts a wide range of water sports enthusiasts.

The peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges are within easy reach and are complemented by the charm of the Dyfi, Dysynni and Tal y Llyn valleys nearby. An ideal area for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers, and a wonderful all-year-round location.

Booking and Payment

Dyfi Cottages & Aberdyfi Holidays is a marketing agency and we do not own or manage any of the accommodation listed on our websites. Bookings made via us form a legal agreement between you and the property owner.

For bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival, a 30% deposit of the total cost of the holiday is required at the time of booking. The balance is then due 8 weeks before the holiday commences.

For bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, the total amount is payable at the time of booking.

Security Deposit 

Security deposits are not normally required. Please note that guests are still liable for any damage or additional cleaning required as a result of their actions.

Arrival & Departure times

Arrival time is from 5 pm / Departure time is no later than 09.30 am.

Please note: check-in and check-out times at the majority of our properties have been temporarily revised. The revised times for this property are reflected above.

Short Breaks

Sorry, there are no short breaks available.

Bed Linen & Towels

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Heating & Electric

Gas central heating and electric are included in the accommodation price (Logs are not provided but can be purchased locally).

Infant facilities

Travel cot, high chair & stair gate are available in the property (there is no bedding provided for the travel cot).

Pets

Regrettably, pets are not accepted.

Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available. The owner cannot guarantee the availability or speed of the service as this is dependent on third party suppliers.

Parking

Large parking area for two cars plus a garage. There is also one free car pass provided in Ty Bryn for the Aberdyfi ‘pay & display’ car parks (spaces are subject to availability).

Location

Ty Bryn is located above the centre of the village with walks nearby leading to Panorama walk and Lyn Barfog (Bearded Lake).

Access, Health and Safety

The maximum occupancy is 8 guests (does not include an infant under 2 years in a travel cot)

Access to the front door is via a wooden decked footbridge which includes four small steps. Please note the decked footbridge can get quite slippery when wet.

As the outside area and grounds are not enclosed children must be supervised at all times.  

Please contact us immediately if there are any specific needs you may have, including disability needs. It is essential that we are given as much information as possible about your requirements to avoid booking an unsuitable property. Some locations do not lend themselves to easy access and facilities, so please ask first to avoid disappointment.

The choice is ultimately the responsibility of the person booking the property, and we cannot be held responsible should a property be booked that is unsuitable or inappropriate.

If you have any queries regarding the size of any rooms, please do not hesitate to contact us.
